From Batch to Continuous processing

Conversion from batch to continuous (reaction) systems

Many production processes have been developed as a batch process. Here, a vessel or reactor is filled with products that are mixed together to eventually form an end product. Often there also intermediate steps are included such as heating, cooling or separating, etc.

Instead of producing a measured quantity (batch) in a vessel, it is also possible to arrange the process in such a way that continuous product is introduced into the system and end product is hence continuously produced. This can have great benefits depending on the process.

Some of these benefits can be:

  • Improved product quality
  • Better process control
  • Smaller installation
  • Less labor-intensive
  • Safer production process

At Flowlink we are happy to help you with converting your batch process to continuous production.
